Lakeland Wildlife Oasis – 6.4 miles

Lakeland Wildlife Discovery Centre will take you through 3,000 million years of evolution and explore the development of life on Earth with an exciting blend of exotic wildlife and interactive displays, from magic molecules to mischievous monkeys.

The exhibits include chameleons to computers, from fossils to fossas and also some of the most endangered species which are kept here as part of international breeding programmes.

You can get close to butterflies, birds and bats, meet the meerkats or stroke a snake at the Wildlife Oasis.  Lizards lounge in their open plan enclosure and leaf cutter ants can be seen as they toil along their rope walk.

The Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is an all weather attraction.
Open 7 days a week from 10.00am (except 25th and 26th December).

Price are Adults - £7.50, Children (aged 3 – 15) £5.00, Senior - £6.00 and Family (2 adults and 2 children) - £22.50 (third child £2.50 with a family ticket).
